Thank you to everyone for all your calls and emails and concern for my new challenge. I couldn't have made it this far without the support of my family and friends. Work is more than covered (thanks Amy) and my house will run better than ever (thanks Ann). I intend to keep all my friends up to date with this blog. When I am away from the computer I will appoint a surrogate communicator. Voluneers, please apply.
The next step is meeting with the surgeon on Monday morning. I assume that I will then know my surgery schedule, which I will post as soon as possible. In the meantime, I plan to enjoy my weekend, (thanks Rachel), and rest up for ELYSE'S BIG ADVENTURE!
Good night.

Dearest Elyse,
I think this is a great way to keep us all posted. Let me know if I can be a volunteer communicator- blogger, or anything else. Thinking of you with love,
M
Dear Elyse,
I have been waking up thinking of you every morning. This morning as I was thinking I wanted to email you,I reached down and picked up an index card off the floor. (if you remember I am not the best housekeeper!) It was a poem about what cancer can not take away-your friends, your spirit.I still can not figure out where it came from.Sending you lots of love- I am always available to lend a helping hand. Love,Debbie
