Last night John and I went out for dinner! To a restaurant! I shared an appetizer, ordered an entree, had a few bites of dessert and even a glass of wine. Woo hoo!

There is a gift to be able to appreciate the small things in life. There are those who would take such a dinner for granted. You have never been one of those. I'm glad you enjoyed your night out.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!! (If I did that correctly, that should be in bold). Now that is something to post about. I hope you had a lovely evening and you both enjoyed yourselves and each other. A glass if wine is good for the appetite and the soul. SALUTE BUENO and L'CHAIM
So glad you got out and enjoyed your evening and are also back to enjoying your food!!! I hope the company was as good as the evening was. (wink, wink) Ann
Dear Elyse, If you are what you eat then you sound like you're in great shape! What wonderful news that you and John got to enjoy a date night, wine and all. This is a huge step and I'm so thrilled for you. I'll keep praying for big and small steps and hopefully G-d will continue to surprise you with giant ones. You deserve them.
What happy news for all of us! A simple dinner can mean so much....we hope for many more dinners, movies, plays, kayak trips, spas etc. Normal is what we all want for you. Here's to many more good times! Love, Roberto XXXOOO
What wonderful news. I am so happy that you enjoyed dinner out. Keep pushing forward and keep enjoying your daily outings. Tonight, I have graduated from solidarity milk shakes to solidarity alcohol. Thank you very much! XXXOOOBGM
Glad you felt like going out. There's a reason booze is also known as "tonic" and "spirits". I firmly believe that if used correctly alcohol can speed a cure or lift your mood.
Hey! That's so great! How is your breathing and rash treating you? A bonus in all this is that you get to put on those jeans that you've been trying to fit into since college again! I still have one pair but no matter how much weight I loose--can't shrink the hips! Darn! HA. Hope you dressed up and had a great time. Did Brent babysit the doggies?? Are you still decorating house and finishing up Brent's room? Chase says hi to Brent! Big, big HUG!!!
After suffering from a persistent cough for months, and failing to get multiple physicians to pay attention to me, on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, I was diagnosed with bronchialalveolar carcinoma. Lung cancer. Genes (or whatever) trump a healthy lifestyle.
