Welcome home Elyse. Something tells me you are so glad to be there, and trust me, I understand completely. I know (only partly) how frustrating it was for you to be so confined in the hospital, not feeling great, and wanting more answers. Look at the bright side...you got to watch your friends and family make idiots of themselves putting on those masks and making puppets out of the gloves, right?! In any event, welcome home and this time, hope it is for good. Take care of yourself. xoxoxoxoxo Ann
and you thought coming home after surgery felt good, I can't imagine this feeling! put on your jammies and feel the joy of moving freely about from room to room.
Yipee!!! Welcome home - to stay! Enjoy this beautiful day and your fun four legged companions to entertain you. Feel better each and every minute...home sweet home, indeed.
Hey Ali - all of us Beagles are so happy the docs lowered the fever and you are home where you belong. Now it's time to focus on your family and a speedy recovery. Let us know what we can do and when we can visit.. g-dspeed in recovery. Love Steve, Mer and the kids..
By the way take Joan River's approach to housekeeping.. " My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance..! "
Enjoyed spending time with you this weekend and I am so glad you got to leave that cubicle of a room you so aptly described. Wishing you continued strength
Whatever heavy duty does of antibiotic they injected you with did the trick - but nothing, and I mean nothing, can surpass the Elyse Aussenberg will. Once again, you showed them who's boss. xxoo Rachel
Just when I think that I have had an interesting or tumultous week, I get a little perspective when I turn to the ever interesting and ever inspiring Elyse blog. I am so glad you are home and thinking of you today- resting comfortably I hope. Thinking of you, Michelle N.
After suffering from a persistent cough for months, and failing to get multiple physicians to pay attention to me, on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, I was diagnosed with bronchialalveolar carcinoma. Lung cancer. Genes (or whatever) trump a healthy lifestyle.
