To blog or not to blog. That is the question.

I am caught in a bind. If I indicate here how I am feeling, then I am afraid you readers will worry, but not posting is apparently having the same effect, says my telephone.

I am not at all feeling well, still troubled by this fever. No doctors will commit to a diagnosis, sticking by the "looks good on paper." I will see the infectious disease MD on Wednesday, so I may know more then.

In the meantime, I mostly stay in bed, wander outside in the sun when I am up to it, and hope that the fever goes away. Soon.

Thank you everyone for your concern.

We are always uplifted when you post despite a less than uplifting report. Still good to hear from you. So when it doubt, blog it out!

Sending oodles (that's a lot) of good thoughts and gentle hugs.

Unless blogging is too stressful for you, it is my vote that you continue. I might not talk to you as often as I'd like, but I can at least feel closer by reading what is going on in your life. I am pretty sure it is like that for many of your readers...
Sounds like your fever has taken on a form of it's own and sometimes there just isn't a reason. With that in mind, I hope it moves along sooner then later.
You were missed this weekend.

Thank you for sharing what's up. After the hospital sleepovers with friends, I was sure mega doses of antibiotics and girlfriends in jamies would do the trick. Know you're on my mind and in my prayers. Wrap up in a cozy blanket and keep the sunshining on you!
Much love,
Kathy

You should blog when you feel like it and not when you don't. We will cope -- and if we don't, well... I, will long distance bond with you tomorrow with a solidarity milk shake. Love, Burton

We accept the good or the not so good...the important thing is that is helps you to post your thoughts. We understand that sometimes the words just don't flow...and the situation may not be positive..but hey ..that's what makes a blog....brotha

It's just like you to want to spare US! News is news - put it out there to the universe to sort out the good from the bad. Your posts give all of us a connection to you. Better that all of us can put our collective love and prayers for you together -- strength in numbers, you know. When the post is positive, we all rejoice. When it's not so good, our energies are bound together in healing love sent your way from near and far. It must be exhausting to fight this fever right now, so you don't have the energy to post. It is selfish of us to want to hear from you, but I know when you don't post, we can't help but to react with fear --surely worse things are going through our minds than your actual condition. Just know that every post keeps an accurate status of your health on our minds. We know what to do with the news. Much love, Cynthia Graubart (with a dachshund nuzzling under my chin and pawing at my arm while I'm posting -- must be time for breakfast. Hope yours are all under the covers with you)

Your posts are always looked forward to...and when you aren't feeling well - hopefully our love and encouragement will help you feel a bit better. Post away, good, bad or indifferent.

We hope you kick that fever's butt soon. Feel better!
Hugs,
Lorie, Lex, Justin and Dakota

Sounds unanimous to me - your blog peeps need to hear from you. But only, as was stated multiple times, if you are up to it. And Burton, what can I say, you are truly a trooper to shake it on your own. That's it Elyse, milkSHAKE that fever away!

Well this sucks. Cynthia said it best, though, we can gather our healing love and energy and send them your way when we know.

I miss the blog and I worry. I know a patient without answers is horrible. But I think getting that frustration out on to the airwaves may help you. We know you as a fighter and as real person with fear and questions. Write when you can. We all care about you and want to hear from you.
